I just want to say a little bit about myself. Well a lot actually. That’s because you need to know the real; me, you know, so there’s no surprises when you take me home.

People – I love ‘em – all of ‘em! I don’t like seeing empty hands because  those are meant for petting – – – me!

When I meet new dogs, I try to be friendly, but until I know they are too, I’m a little weak-kneed. I don’t like to be too outgoing, since I don’t know what to expect coming at me. Better safe than sorry right? After a while, when I know it’s safe, and the other dog is friendly, I’ll be their friend too and their size doesn’t matter.

My fosters other dog, Huxley, doesn’t seem to like when I get all playful and stuff. What can I say though? I like having fun.

I’ve seen some really small kangaroos here. Their ears are way longer than in Australia, but their bodies are so much smaller. They’re curious animals and I like looking at them. Don’t worry, I won’t pull you to them. I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of them already. Huxley told me they’re called rabbits.

My foster mom says that I “listen to his social queues” whatever they are. I guess that’s a good thing though because she seems happy when she says it.

If you have carpeting, that’s okay. If not, that’s okay too. Floors don’t scare me. It’s those blasted stairs, but I’m working on that issue.

If you have a deck, I’ll be in my glory, but I understand your winters here are a lot colder than what I’m used to, so maybe a nice cozy spot inside would be good too! It may not be what I’m used to, but I‘ll come around.

You can crate me it you have to, but it’s not my favourite place to be.

Foster mom says I love to be loved and need to be close to people. Are you a people? Can I be close to you and love you too? She also says I’m “a lovely happy little lady” and I’m “going to make someone a fantastic friend”. I’ll be your furever friend, and if you have another hound, who is confident within itself, I’ll be even better. It’s said that I’m cat workable. Does that mean I work with a cat, or work for a cat? This is all so new to me.

Juicy is being fostered in Edmonton.
