Charlie is a very loving and affectionate boy. He is calm and quiet around the house but loves to do zoomies in the yard. He likes his cuddles but is not demanding.
He looks forward to his walks and is perfect on leash. He has been very respectful when meeting other dogs. He can be reserved when he’s unsure of his situation/surroundings – his bed is his safe zone. He warms up quickly to new situations.
He can also be the perfect host at the dinner party. Charlie loves food and enjoys being the sous chef at meal times. He prefers his toys to squeak unless he’s playing fetch. He lights up and is thrilled with his favorite game which requires several balls. He’s known as the “half retriever”. You throw, Charlie retrieves and stacks all the balls half way back to you!
Charlie has one request: he doesn’t like being an only dog. He’d really like a canine buddy who can be his leader and who would like to be his play companion. He takes his cues from the other confident dog(s) in the home.
