Let me introduce myself, my name is Bells. I’m a coonhound/greyhound cross. I am a little unusual looking being coonhound in the front seat and greyhound in the back seat but this doesn’t affect my sweet and lovable nature. I’m very chill around the house and like to nap after my walks. I enjoy a good walk a couple times/day. I’m a good leash walker and very little gets me too excited. I do have the coonhound sniffer so I’m nose to the ground. I like the outdoors so I would like to have a yard to explore and hang out with my family.
I’m good with meeting other dogs with polite introductions but I can be unsure at times so I’m good to just keep on truckin’. I’ve gotten along with other dogs in the yard and the house. I love people and anyone that wants to pet me is welcome. I’m not comfortable/confident around little people so an adult home is required.
I can be a little reserved when you first meet me but I warm up pretty quickly. My foster Mom and I snuggle on the couch in the morning over coffee and a good book. I don’t need to be kennelled, just a comfy couch to hang out on. I’m a greyt sleeper at night on my dogbed beside my people. I can be an only dog but I’d prefer not to have be alone long work days. A play buddy would be fine too. I love to grumble and garble and chat up a storm when encouraged – yep, I sound like a coonhound. I have been an adventure dog that loves to explore the world. I’ve been camping, swimming and hiked a few mountains. I am loyal and loving and did I say obedient – never have to tell me twice! I’m a happy girl whose tail is always in motion.
Are you looking for a companion that just wants to be by your side and your best friend, well I’m that gal!
Bells is being fostered in Calgary, Alberta.
