Bootsie is a fabulous young guy that just can't wait to meet his forever family!

Bootsie has excellent house manners. He is being fostered as an only pet in the home and really looks to his people for guidance. However, he does do okay when left alone - in his kennel or loose in the house - while the foster family is okay. He loves to go on walks and pulls a bit when first starting out but quickly settles by his foster mom's side. Because he is an only dog, he does get a little excited when he sees other dogs but is easily corrected. After a couple of seconds he simply loses interest and continues on his way.

Bootsie is being fostered in St. Albert, Alberta.

Chaos, needs a new name - there is nothing chaotic about this amazing black gem...

Click on his picture to see more amazing photos of this guy, taken by his foster mom Tracy of www.TRACYPORTRAITS.com

Chaos has settled in nicely. He likes walks and doesn’t pull. He has met several dogs and has been gentle and kind with all. He is mildly interested in the cat in his foster home but is easily corrected. He shares food and dog bones.. his foster sister, basset Winnifred, has snuck a juicy bone from him and he wasn’t bothered at all.

98% of the time he is a very quiet boy, but if there is a game of chase me in the back yard he will bark in excitement. Not one mess in the house, when he needs to go out to pee he just gets up and walks to the door.

He is overall an excellent companion. He does like the company of our basset so would probably enjoy having a doggy buddy.

Chaos is being fostered in Melville, Saskatchewan.

This handsome hound has VERY quickly adapted to home life!

His house manners have been excellent since he arrived in his foster home. Flash will go into his crate easily but he does prefer one the comfort of a nice soft dog bed and has been just fine when left out of the crate while his foster dad is at work. He sleeps quietly all night but does think when the sun comes at at 5:00 everyone should get up.

Flash loves his food and is always eager to eat. Sometimes a little too eager! He will chew up toys and swallow them so he likely is not a good fit for a family with little kids and little toys. But he loves to chase a tennis ball in the yard so would welcome some older children to play with. He also get along well with the other dogs in his foster home and would probably do best in a home with either a canine companion or a home where he is not left alone for long periods each day. Flash is welcoming to strangers as they walk by the yard and those he meets on walks. And he sings - whenever he hears a siren, Flash will sing you the song of his people. At all other times he is a pretty quiet, laid back boy.

Flash is being fostered in Regina, Saskatchewan.

June has come back to NSGA to find her forever home as she did not get along with the parrot in the home.

June LOVES people and also gets along well with medium to large dogs.  No cats or birds or other small critters in this girl's home please.  She does fine as an only dog but perhaps not in a home where she would be left alone for very long periods of time.  June would also prefer to have a yard where she can run freely.  She also would do best in a home where a male will be doing the majority of walks with her as she seems a bit insecure on leash when a female is walking her.

June has a PENDING ADOPTION!
