Chaos, needs a new name - there is nothing chaotic about this amazing black gem...

Click on his picture to see more amazing photos of this guy, taken by his foster mom Tracy of www.TRACYPORTRAITS.com

Chaos has settled in nicely. He likes walks and doesn’t pull. He has met several dogs and has been gentle and kind with all. He is mildly interested in the cat in his foster home but is easily corrected. He shares food and dog bones.. his foster sister, basset Winnifred, has snuck a juicy bone from him and he wasn’t bothered at all.

98% of the time he is a very quiet boy, but if there is a game of chase me in the back yard he will bark in excitement. Not one mess in the house, when he needs to go out to pee he just gets up and walks to the door.

He is overall an excellent companion. He does like the company of our basset so would probably enjoy having a doggy buddy.

Chaos is being fostered in Melville, Saskatchewan.

Cody is a happy outgoing fellow!

He is also a stunning, big boy.  Cody appears confident but is an extremely sensitive dog.  He picks up on whatever the humans are feeling and reacts to it so he will need a home that can handle walking a big boy with confidence.  He has excellent house manners except that he does have a penchant for stealing food off of counters.  Cody is incredibly food motivated, which makes him easy to train.  He will do almost anything you ask if there is a treat offered.

Cody is being fostered in Edmonton, Alberta.

This handsome hound has VERY quickly adapted to home life!

His house manners have been excellent since he arrived in his foster home. Flash will go into his crate easily but he does prefer one the comfort of a nice soft dog bed and has been just fine when left out of the crate while his foster dad is at work. He sleeps quietly all night but does think when the sun comes at at 5:00 everyone should get up.

Flash loves his food and is always eager to eat. Sometimes a little too eager! He will chew up toys and swallow them so he likely is not a good fit for a family with little kids and little toys. But he loves to chase a tennis ball in the yard so would welcome some older children to play with. He also get along well with the other dogs in his foster home and would probably do best in a home with either a canine companion or a home where he is not left alone for long periods each day. Flash is welcoming to strangers as they walk by the yard and those he meets on walks. And he sings - whenever he hears a siren, Flash will sing you the song of his people. At all other times he is a pretty quiet, laid back boy.

Flash is being fostered in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Grayson is an affectionate young lad with a wonderful temperment!

He is fully house trained, and has had no accidents.  When he needs to go out he will go to the door or get his foster parent's attention.   He willingly shares space, food, toys with his foster sister and loves going for walks with the group.  He does get pretty excited when he sees over dogs but is working on his leash manners.

Grayson is thunderphobic and does panic during storms.  He has medication to help him through them but his family will have to be committed to helping him through the rough times. The work is well worth it - he will reward you for  the extra attention with all the affection you could ask for.  He is  simply  a sweetheart.

Grayson is being fostered in St. Albert, Alberta.

Jemmy is a wonderful, quiet, even tempered girl.

She chooses to lay in her crate snoozing, although she will join in running outside if something exciting appears to be going on. Jemmy asks to go outside by pacing to the door and whining and she has had no accidents so far. She has shown excellent manners with no counter surfing but she does like food and plates of dinner are very tempting.  She is very gentle with the six year old boy in her foster home.  Jemmy loves pets and cuddles and willingly shares beds with the other dogs in her foster home.

Machete is confident and outgoing.

This handsome boy was a kennel favourite and as soon as you meet him you can see why.  He has an amazing personality and is stunningly handsome.  Machete had a stopper bone injury that ended his racing career.  Although it has healed completely and doesn't bother him at all, he is not ever going to be someone's jogging partner.  Instead, he will gladly just retire gracefully and enjoy all the attention he can get.

Machete is being fostered in Edmonton, Alberta.
